Programs & Projects

Some Details:
Mom’s & Tot’s Group
It's common for new mothers to feel overwhelmed and disconnected. Forming bonds with other moms facing the same obstacles can be an invaluable source of support. We need at least 2 people each time it’s held, and a few people on a rotating list to provide snacks. This is the second program we’d like to launch, preferably by June 2025. We’d love to be able to offer it weekly, but any frequency is better than nothing.
‘Little Miracles Stork Project’ - welcome baby & new mom packs
Our welcome packs include diapers, a handmade quilt, a New Testament, a gospel tract, and a brochure for our Centre.
We are currently implementing this project and need 2-4 volunteers per month to make up welcome packs and distribute them to the participating churches. We need the community to donate towards the items included. We are so thankful for the pastors who are opening their churches to receive these packages for distribution, and for our quilting ladies who have supplied beautiful baby quilts (& we welcome more!)

We are eager to expand our offerings to include travel-sized diaper cream, wipes, a soother, nursing pads, and more. However, we need sponsors to help us maintain a consistent supply of these essentials. If you would be interested in joining us in this project, please contact us.
‘Lifeline Lifts’ - infant car seat program
**This initiative was born from a request by hospital social services outside retail hours, seeking an urgent car seat for a mother and her baby being airlifted to Vancouver. Thankfully, we had a car seat available and promptly delivered it to the hospital, allowing the patient to depart just 10 minutes after receiving it. This was a success story!
We later got another urgent call from the hospital asking for a car seat, but we were unable to assist as we did not have one on hand.
This was the moment we pledged to always have a new car seat on standby. And Lifeline Lifts was born.
This is a surprisingly frequent need in our community, especially since our hospital supports neighboring communities that lack their own maternity care.
We have investigated the legalities surrounding this program and have determined that we are constrained to providing NEW car seats for liability reasons, as insurance won't cover us for used even with a waiver.
This program will be implemented as soon as we receive a new infant car seat, or donations towards such. Any people or businesses wanting to sponsor keeping new infant car seats on hand for these emergent situations, please connect with us!
In-person Local Grief & Post-Abortion Support* Groups
Support groups for pregnancy loss and post-abortion are vital for emotional & spiritual recovery and mental health.
We would love to have this up and running by late fall 2025.
We need at least 1 trained pregnancy loss or post-abortion volunteer plus an assistant per support group. Those who have had an unexpected infant loss have different needs compared to those who are experiencing abortion regret. Volunteers trained in assisting with one or both of these special situations are key to this being a viable program.
*The Centre is happy to provide training through Pregnancy Care Canada’s new post-abortion program slated to launch this fall.

Male Mentorship Class
The role of male mentorship in pregnancy support services is gaining recognition as a vital, yet frequently neglected, component in developing comprehensive and effective care systems. Single fathers we've talked to lament the scarcity of resources tailored for men facing similar challenges in our area.
It can be hard to get men to commit to a series of sessions, so we’d like to start with just one class at a time. However, we need at least 2 MALE volunteers to make this work. We are eager to get this operational by Sept 2025.
Looking Forward

Of course, there are lots of other programs we’d love to implement – life skills & sexual risk avoidance education, parenting classes, freedom sessions, arts & crafts, small business skills, biblically based financial freedom… but those will also require people, so we hope to gradually add those in as the community gets behind these ideas.
We can’t do this without God’s blessing, but we also can’t do it without His people. God uses YOU to minister to others in this world.
