How Can I Help?

At PPSC we TREASURE community. YOU can be a part of it!

​There are many ways to help, from sharing information about the services we provide with your neighbor, to praying for our Centre, to helping us organize our donations.

There is nothing too big or too small to make a difference.


We have several volunteer opportunities – from a one-hour occasional commitment to a few hours every week:

    Non-Client Facing

  • Sort material donations (maternity and baby clothing, diapers, etc.)

  • Snacks donors for programs

  • Manage the “Client Boutique” (keep shelves neatly stocked)

  • Package ‘Little Miracles Stork Project’ items

  • Deliver ‘Little Miracles Stork Project’ packages to churches

  • Prayer Teams Pray for us and the mission God has set before us

    • Join WhatsApp Prayer Team (Weekly 30 min group prayer)

    • Email Prayer Team

  • Website Developer

  • Graphic Design Work

  • Marketing / Newsletter

  • Special Events Volunteers

    • Kiskatinaw Fall Fair, Night for Hope, other events

    • ​Assist in fundraiser events by designing and decorating for events, helping set-up, taking-down, cooking, collecting auction items, serving at events​

  • Church Liaison (raising awareness in your church)

  • Cleaning / Organizing

    • Help sort, label and assign donations​

    • Assist in creating layettes for newborns
       

    Community Awareness*

  • Public relations / Info Booths

  • Church Ambassador (Speaking and raising awareness in local churches)

  • Education Presenter (sexual health presentations for youth)

Client Support Volunteer**
 

Are you interested in becoming a Client Facing, trained volunteer within the Centre?

  • Front Desk Receptionist (welcome & greet clients)

  • Client Support Worker/Client Advocate (work directly with clients, providing education and support)

  • Mom’s & Tots Facilitator

  • Pregnancy/Parenting Education Facilitator

  • Post-Abortion Group Facilitator

  • Prayer Partner for Client or Volunteer

  • Client Advocate/Male Mentor

  • 24-hour help-line


** Requires 21 hrs of specialized (online) Pregnancy Care training. The PPSC is a charitable Christian agency; some conditions for client facing volunteers apply.

We are non-political and non-judgmental, providing compassionate care to women and families facing an unexpected or difficult pregnancy or pregnancy loss. All our services are provided free of charge.
